The Italian Crisis was a crisis on 1January , 2022, between Roma, Pablostan, and Greater india.
The Pope[]
On the same date, the slave trade, estalished between the United Federation and Prussia, was made. One slave Adboy2011 bought, SevenKeylime, was declared the Pope by the Papal States, who controlled Rome. There was some opposition, but enricoborge, the founder of Pabloism, declared himself the Second Pope. Seven initially opposed this, but enrico said he was the founder of Pabloism, along with Brody0727 providing further proof. Enrico decided that to be Pope, he would need a claim in Italy, and his outpost in eastern Switzerland in the Alps wasn't enough.
The Claiming[]
Mx_Jeorge of the Papal States established San Marino, which quickly joined the nation, around 150 blocks below and 35 blocks west of San Marino's real world location. Enrico then went to San Marino, and claimed an outpost in San Marino's actual location. Enrico did go overboard with the claiming, but instead called his outpost "Greater San Marino." Meanwhile, the United Federation claimed about 80 blocks south of the Po River, and set an outpost. When enrico, a member of Bossman's nation, asked Bossman about his actions, his responsed was "Because I can." It's still unclear if these actions will lead to a "Scramble for Italy", but only time will tell. Prussia sided with the Papal States, and forced enrico to give up his claims. If not, Zqben would declare war on rotopia, enrico's town, and he would be kicked from the United Federation. Later on, enrico gave a request to Seven on claiming in southeastern Italy, on the Salento peninsula. Seven said yes, and enrico set up an outpost and brought along Brody, Dillybuggy, and his only other town member, Parronit, formerly _JTee, to build a large house there. also slimdude also known as jetson declared war on italia and now it's insane
