The Madrid Institute of Research & Investigation (aka MIoRI) was the most prominent institute in Madrid. It was founded by TheCarlagas, who also served as the CEO. This institute is in charge of Culture, Science, History, Technology, and Research in all Madrid.
Location[]
The MIoRI is located in MarkusRabbit Avenue in Modern Part (South Madrid, Argentina) in Madrid. MIoRI is located near the coast, and near other buildings. The headquarters are located exactly in front of the Research Lab Building.
Activities[]
The MIoRI lead all the cultural issues in Madrid.
It collected books from all over the world. In MIoRI, those books were studied, corrected and translated. The management of the National Library of Madrid was divided between MIoRI and the town`s government. Thanks to the institute, Madrid had maintained the most important and extensive book collection in the server.
The institute also supported exploration and archaeology. It conducted research in Bangkok when a mysterious sign was found under the ground, collected photos of abandoned settlements, and sent expeditions across the world. Among the expeditions, one led to the discovery of the Face of Baltimore, a creeper symbol on the floor near Baltimore. Underwater temples were also explored.
MIoRI also supported many subjects of science. It was the first entity to create the medicine against pneumonia. It assisted in leading, mainly with Bangkok, the health programs of the Ecumenical Empire.
In technological sciences, it researched to invent a possible chunk loader for Madrid (the project that MIoRI developed was never started because it was deemed unnecessary, but the idea had been considered) and helped a bit with the plumber litter net, which was mainly by the central town`s government.
The MIoRI even protected places that were interesting or historically significant—they protected the Chicagolese Submarine in Madrid, Titicaca Lake in the Andes, and were against the destruction of the traditional ancient part in Saigon.
