SpideyBren2000
SpideyBren2000 first joined the server sometime around January 2015, during the Second Era. Spidey was a member of The Allies, founder of SpidroTech airships, and known rival of the UN. Eventually Spidey would stop playing on the server and has not been seen in any subsequent eras.
History[]
Second Era[]
From the beginning, Spidey just wanted to play on the server, build a town, and participate in build the server's economy. One of his main goals was to fill out the Dynmap by traveling by foot across the server. Eventually, AbsurdAj, one of the admins at the time, helped Spidey by giving him speed and jump boost effects, and would follow Spidey with interest in his journey.
Beginnings[]
Spidey would first create the town of Atlantis in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. The town would quickly face opposition from a large number of players who believed that all towns on the server should be named after real-world places. Attacks from specific groups, such as the UN, would eventually force Spidey from his first town.
Spidey would move from Atlantis to a new town in the Sahara called SpidroTech, where he would being building and selling custom movecrafts for other players. He would also blow up a significant amount of land around his new town in an attempt to make it harder for players to attack him. This drew backlash from the same group of players that had forced him from Atlantis, with them claiming that he was once again ruining the beauty of the server.
An attack from a nearby town would be the final straw for Spidey, who began thinking about how he could get revenge on those who had been attacking him. Spidey began seeking out alliances with other players who had been in conflict with members of the UN. It's likely around this time that Spidey became apart of The Allies, and fought in the war against the Great Federation.
1st Spidro War[]
Tensions between Spidey and members of Anetalia would boil over into the 1st Spidro War after Spidey set fire to Marseillaise, one of Turin's outposts. Marseillaise had previously belonged to a known hacker who was eventually banned. After the hacker's ban, the town was no longer protected from griefing, and Spidey sought to remove the hacker's mark from the server.
Turin claimed Spidey's actions were an unprovoked attack, and mobilized an offensive with its allies. Spidey was forced back into the mountains of Peru, where SpidroTech fighters fought UN forces mixed with Anetalian irregulars. Shortly thereafter, Anetalia would attempt to introduce a lengthy and extensive treaty dictating terms designed to limit Spidey's ability to act outside his sphere of influence. The treaty was never agreed to, and Spidey would continue to harass members of Anetalia following the war.
2nd Spidro War[]
To set the stage, Spidey had recently formed an alliance with Royal Japan. The Japanese had secretly invited Anetalian leader Bravo8675309 to join them, discussing the possibility of a betrayal of the UN by Anetalia. Bravo refused, leading to further tensions and suspicion between the two sides.
The war would begin with Spidey announcing his invasion of Turin. Spidro-Japanese forces would make their way into Turin, and after a few small skirmishes, Turin would agree to peace. All captured equipment was returned to each side.
Temporary Ban[]
Near the end of the Second Era, Spidey would continue to harass his long time enemies, with some citing him as the main reason for them no longer having any interest in the server. Eventually, during May 2015, Spidey would be temporarily banned. Spidey himself claims that the reason he was banned was a due to his use of Slimefun boots and "very clear staff abuse". He would return a month later, shortly before the beginning of the Third Era.
Third Era[]
Duping[]
Spidey would continue his antics in the Third Era, often bombing the outside of his town with airstrikes . Spidey would also take advantage of the recent addition of Slimefun, becoming one of the first players on the server to use a dupe glitch with the portable enchanter. He would gift duped airstrikes, spawners, high sharpness weapons, and armor to his allies, in an attempt to "give everyone the same footing in war". Spidey only ever revealed the dupe glitch to a few players. In one instance, he confirmed that another player had knowledge of the glitch using book and quills to send messages that the admins wouldn't be able to see in the server logs. Spidey did all this because he truly believed that the staff were corrupt and were abusing their power by granting certain players overpowered gifts and rigging the outcomes of war.
Sahara Scar Accusation[]
Though he was accused of perpetrating the Saraha Scar, Spidey was never directly involved in the event. However, he had gifted a chest filled with airstrikes to the true perpetrator.
Introducing the Plague[]
After the introduction of diseases and weapons, Spidey made a fortune selling bio-weapons and teaching people how to exploit the system. For instance, one of the diseases applied nauseam but gave strength II. Nausea could easily be removed by clients or resource packs that were permitted on the server. With understandings such as this, Spidey was able to make contracts with The Allies to sell them diseases at a premium, in exchange he would refrain from selling to the UN. The UN took this as Spidey joining the allies, and when war broke out, Spidey was one of the first people attacked.
Acquisition of the ISS[]
At some point, Spidey had acquired The_ISS, Rootbeer's town. It was originally gifted to one of Spidey's allies after Rootbeer left the server. Upon rejoining the server over a month later, Rootbeer claimed that he never gave away the town and that his account had been hacked. The ISS and all of the assets Spidey had built in it since were taken from him by AbsurdAj and returned to Rootbeer. The ISS was later destroyed by Spidey in war, as revenge.
