Toto was a town founded in the Fifth Era by GummyGuy originally called Fort Toto. The town was made up of select members that all knew each other very well and were often quite active. Members of the town were known as Totoeans (pronounced: toe-tea-ans).
The town would be remade during the Sixth Era, and continue on its legacy until the start of the Seventh Era. During this time, the town as a whole became somewhat of a meme among players of the server, though no one doubted what its members were capable of.
History[]
Fifth Era[]
After deciding that Fort Toto in Madagascar was no longer a suitable base, members of Toto moved to space, where they created an outpost on Ainreth that acted as their main area for Slimefun and storage. They would also go on to claim several thousand chunks on the planet Abyssus as a secondary area. The main goal for Toto was to claim an entire planet. They would never actually succeed in doing this due to a map reset that came in Febuarary 2019.
Wars on Korea[]
From it's start, Toto had a rough relationship with Korea and Its allies. Back when it was Fort Toto, it was attacked by Korea. This event soon became known as the 1st Totoean-Korean War. It ended with members of Fort Toto surrendering and giving into Korea's demands. This war left much resentment towards Korea among Toto members.
Later on though, Toto would have its revenge. In a war declared on Korea and Its allies, Toto would start taking claims from Korea close to the center of the town, and with Garrett109's sudden betrayal, Korea would choose to disband rather than continue fighting.
The Conclave[]
The Conclave was a nation that was created after the war on Korea. It only contained the towns Toto, Imperial Remnant, and Neu Berlin. Its main goal was to stop the formation of supernations and to regulate towns in space. The nation was later left in Garrett109 hand's towards the end of the Fifth Era and was promptly disbanded. This was due to Toto's sudden obsession with declaring war on the whole server, including Its old allies.
World War Six[]
Out of seemingly nowhere, Toto would create the nation The Holy Totoean Empire and declare war on every nation on the server, with Its reasonings being: to collect heads and split apart the supernations Atlantic Reich and Laurentia. Only members from Atlantic Reich showed up, resulting in Toto taking large portions from most of their towns. This ended in a unconditional surrender from the Atlantic Reich. During negotiations afterwards, GummyGuy payed everyone $65k who participated. Due to people leaving the server because of the war, and a now ruined economy, a server reset happened.
Sixth Era[]
After the reset, Gummy would quickly found the town Happy Toto Acres. Much work would be put into making a large barn for his town to store items and for their Slimefun setup. The town would get renamed to Toto after another town attempted to take the name. Gummy would also receive a staff position as helper at the start of the reset. One of Gummy's town members, Stomper_X, would go on to discover and share a duping glitch with Gummy. Deciding to take use of the glitch, Gummy carefully planned out how the group would dupe, trying to bring as little attention to themselves as possible.
The Draco Empire[]
Not long after the start of the reset, a newer player and helper, Dracnoian, would send an invite to Gummy to join his new nation, The Draco Empire. The invited was quickly accepted. Working together, members from Toto along with Dracnoian would become some of the first to fully unlock Slimefun at the start of the era.
Pelao and the Totoean Agenda[]
Though space should not of been available to anyone at the start of the reset, Gummy and his town members were able to make it to several planets. After exploring several of the planets, his town members chose to settle on a frozen world called, "Pelao". They set up their main base on a mountain in the middle of the map that had a stone tower. Many floating islands also surrounded the area and Toto's members were quick to claim individual ones for themselves.
It was during this time that the Totoean Agenda would be created. This agenda outlined the town's goals when it came to territory, war, nation size, and head hunting. Included in the Agenda was a declaration stating that anyone to set foot on the planet Pelao without permission would be subject to war.
The Totoean Agenda was well received within The Draco Empire. Other nations found it too restrictive on their activities and chose to continue unabated. Although most of the Agenda's policies were ignored, when it came to restrictions on travel to Pelao, most everyone agreed on it letting Toto claim the planet, rather than risking war with the town or the Draco Empire. At one point, Mitaykata, a member of The Draco Empire, settled an outpost on Pelao. Gummy went as far as to threaten war against his own nation to have it removed. Eventually it was removed without conflict.
Duping Ban[]
Members from Toto would be caught duping after an admin was reviewing the server's logs and found Toto had obtained an unusually high number of bonus claims. Gummy would admit to everything and would receive a two month ban along with his friend Stomper_X. Any other Toto members that were discovered to have known about the duping operation were banned for two weeks.
Holy Totoean Empire[]
Not long after his unban, Gummy would go on to form the Holy Totoean Empire. The nation would grow fast, soon becoming the second largest nation at the time, with 44 players. Head collecting would once again become a focus during this time, as new members to the nation helped in the collecting of player heads. Players such as the TheTiltedIndian would go on to aggressively collect upwards of 50 heads for Toto's head wall. However, many started to complain about the aggressive head collecting, and Gummy was forced to reprimand a few involved.
The Holy Totoean Empire would be short lived. After finding it difficult to continue watching over a nation, Gummy brought his concerns to the other members of Toto. After a small discussion and a vote, it was decided that Toto would leave the nation, rather than disbanding it, and rejoin with Roma.
Toto's Break[]
Not long after rejoining the nation, Gummy would decide to take a break from MCPE. Many of his town members also agreed, and Toto fell into a state of inactivity. During times that Gummy would get on, he would often speak about Toto returning to start World War Toto 2 to end the Sixth Era. Many of Gummy's allies became excited at the prospect of participating in such a war, and with the announcement that the server would soon be going through a planned reset, it seemed to be just on the horizon.
Imperial Incursion[]
For months, many on the server had dealt with a player called Shushino. Gummy had his own thoughts on the player since the beginning and saw Shush's war declarations over petty issues and aggressive expansionist behavior as a problem.
Eventually, tensions between the Grand Venic Imperium (Shush's nation) and the reset of the other world's nations would lead into World War 4. Deciding that he did not want to miss such an opportunity, Gummy called for his town to join in the war effort. Toto would hep push the Southern border of the Imperial City, and would be the first ones to lay claim to the Imperial City's World Spire.
End of Era Six[]
After the war, server activity began dwindling. Gummy would have a short spurt of activity in the building of a Head Temple on the planet Helios. During that time, he would discover several bugs with a NPC spawning plugin given to donators. These bugs included being able to dupe, fly, and freely teleport anywhere with the use of the NPCs. Gummy was "quick" to report these problems to the admins, though no action was taken until a couple of weeks later.
After this, Gummy didn't spend much time on the server, opting instead for other interests as the server went into a reset period.
Head Collecting[]
In previous eras, members from Toto were known as Head Hunters and Head Collectors, due to the large number of player heads they displayed on their town walls. Toto once again brought back this tradition for the Fifth Era. At the start, the heads of players were displayed on Fort Toto's massive interior walls. These were then moved to a plot in the server's market on the official Toto Head Wall. There were over 100 heads displayed on the wall at the end of Its life, with those deemed most important put on podiums of quartz.
Head collecting would see a return in the Sixth Era under the Totoean Agenda, which limited head hunting to only members of Toto. There would be only a few exceptions to this rule, as players such as TheTiltedIndian would be allowed to head hunt at Toto discretion as long as he gave all the heads to Toto. Any heads that were collected were put on a small wall located inside a tower on the planet Pelao. Eventually, the heads were moved to an official Head Temple, which was never completed. It is estimated that the total number of heads collected during the Sixth Era amounted to around 200.
