Totoean-Korean War

The “Totoean-Korean War” was a battle that occurred on November 17th, 2018, between the inhabitants of Fort Toto and the Daechilbon Empire, as well as their allies. It started with a surprise attack by Daechilbon forces on the town. The battle itself lasted almost two hours before it ended with a surrender by Fort Toto.

The Battle[]

Before the fighting began, it was noted by Fort Toto inhabitants that Nagokiel, the leader of the Korean forces, was flying around the town and was hidden on the dynmap. Shortly after, the Daechilbon Empire declared war on The Confederacy. The members of Fort Toto quickly left the server, in an attempt to avoid a battle, but quickly joined back to fight for their town.

The first claims were taken by Korea on the Southernmost claims of Fort Toto; working their way onto the land from the ocean. Most of the fighting took place from this point. Many of Korea’s allies from Ecumenical Empire were also there for support. Although seemingly favoured at first, the Daechilbon forces soon started taking losses much quicker than Fort Toto, but repeatedly kept coming back to fight for their cause. During this time, a counter attack was made by GummyGuy onto Korea’s Airship in the North Atlantic. He took several claims and blew up the control tower on the ship, before rejoining Fort Toto’s defense.

A ceasefire was declared during the latter part of the battle for negotiations, but was overruled after a vote by Daechilbon forces to continue the fighting. Though the battle could’ve gone on much longer, Fort Toto had players that needed to leave, and was running low on resources. Fort Toto then offered up surrender, which was offered during the battle, but was refused by the invading force. To force their surrender onto Daechilbon, Fort Toto had almost everyone leave the server, which was considered a war crime.

The Resolution[]

Negotiations were held between the two sides. Fort Toto was required to pay $40,000 to Korea and make a few slimefun machines for them. Both sides were required to unclaim captured plots and return any items that were lost during the battle. Any remaining hostilities between Fort Toto, Korea and any involved parties were to cease, along with peace being declared between them.
